FisherCoteIII replaces hexavalent chromium coatings
Fishercast leads the small component zinc alloy die casting industry in offering a trivalent chromate-based coating as an alternative corrosion inhibitor to hexavalent chromium. Called FisherCoteIII, this in-house coating process is a bright, non-corrosive solution developed to meet new environmental regulations for the automotive industry. With its low toxicity, hexavalent-free FisherCoteIII complies with requirements specified by automotive manufacturers.
