Pyro-Tape 682-CR Chemically Resistant Tape Now Available

SUMMARY
Pyro-Tape 682-CR, a new chemically resistant, Teflon-coated, high temperature, fiberglass tape produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for insulating pipes and ductwork, and as a non-stick covering for heat-seal bars and molds for applications to 500 °F (260 °C).

FEATURES
Pyro-Tape 682-CR is a new chemically resistant, Teflon-coated, high temperature, fiberglass tape combined with a high strength silicone adhesive . The tape is rated from -100 °F (-73 °C) to 500 °F (260 °C), and provides an adhesive strength of 50 ounces/inch and tensile strength of 120 psi. Cross-sectional thickness is 0.009" (0.228 mm).

Pyro-Tape 682-CR is typically used as a corrosion protective wrapping for pipes, ductwork and process instrumentation exposed to corrosives and/or high heat, and as a non-stick covering for chutes, slides, heat seal bars, and molds used in the fabrication of composite materials.

Pyro-Tape 682-CR is available in standard sizes of ½" and 1" wide x 36 yards, and custom widths are available upon request:
