Painesville, Ohio USA, October 4, 2007 - Meritec announces the newest addition to its Card Edge Connector product line - rugged Straddle Mount PCI Express Connectors. These new PCI Express connectors will be available in X1, X4, X8 and X16 configurations and all meeting the new PCI Express 2.0 specifications. The X16 version will be available for sampling in November 2007 with full production quantities available shortly thereafter.
