Broaching Machine Specialties introduces the "Electro-Mate", the next generation of it's "Cell-Mate" internal, table up broaching machine.
This next generation of table-up broaching machine still provides easy floor level loading and eliminates the need for operator stands and pits, but also eliminates the need for floor-
space eating hydraulic units as well. The single piece construction makes for easy cell reconfiguration, and is an ideal design for today's world of flexible manufacturing.
Available, fitted with "linear bearings" as opposed to traditional box-way design, the "Electro-Mate" is capable of meeting the tightest part dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
The "Electro-Mate" is completely electro mechanically operated in every axis. Powered by the latest "force-tube" and servo motor technology, the "Electro-Mate" requires no hydraulics whatsoever. And because the electric motors only run on-demand, significant utility cost savings are realized.
The table-up machine design is easily automated and can be tooled to broach multiple parts simultaneously yielding lower cycle times and higher production rates.
Built of heavy-duty welded construction the "Electro-Mate" can stand up to the most demanding production environments.
Available up to 10 tons in capacity and 72" stroke.
