Booster Pump Skid System handles varying flow requirements.

Press Release Summary:

Addressing problems regarding inaccurate brine solution dosing and insufficient pressure levels, autonomous-duty standby booster pump skid system with PID pressure control can boost water pressure for any varying flow requirement. It maintains constant water pressure into ClorTec® on-site sodium hypochlorite generating systems while eliminating need for users to adjust on-site generating systems based on production demand.

Severn Trent Services Introduces Unique Booster Pump Skid System

Designed to Maintain Constant Water Pressure into ClorTec® On-site Sodium Hypochlorite Generating Systems

Autonomous duty/standby booster pump skid system with PID pressure control can boost water pressure for any varying flow requirement.

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. - Severn Trent Services has introduced an autonomous duty/standby booster pump skid system with PID pressure control. The system is designed to maintain constant water pressure into ClorTec® on-site sodium hypochlorite generating systems under varying flow demand requirements. The new booster pump skid system is available in the North American, South American, Middle Eastern, African and Asia Pacific markets. It will not be sold in the European market.

Low inlet water pressure, pressure losses through a distribution system or high flow demand can contribute to insufficient water pressure at the inlet of on-site sodium hypochlorite generators. These conditions may cause the brine solution to be dosed inaccurately or reduce pressure to levels that are too low to feed the on-site generator. As a result, system malfunctions might occur and will require additional maintenance costs.

The new booster pump design offered by Severn Trent Services eliminates the inefficiencies of traditional booster pump systems since it is able to maintain constant water pressure under varying flow demand requirements. The new, robust system is user-friendly, compact and able to provide energy savings. With the new variable booster pump system, users no longer have to adjust on-site generating systems depending on production demand and are able to run the system at full potential (all duty) even under unfavorable pressure conditions. The booster pump skid will automatically adjust itself to accommodate different flow requirements whether the system runs one on-site generator or a number of on-site generators at once.
