Custom Molded Bellows Feature Specific Performance Characteristics
Custom engineered, blow molded bellows that can be designed to meet specific OEM chemical- and physical performance requirements are being introduced by Blow Molded Specialties of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
BMS Custom Molded Bellows can be made from a wide range of materials such as LDPE, polypropylene, Hytrel®, and thermoplastic elastomers to achieve certain properties with regard to chemical resistance or bio-compatibility. Designed to meet specific customer requirements for flexibility, stiffness, compressibility, memory, and travel, these blow molded bellows can be convoluted or corrugated and incorporate various open- and closed-end finishes.
Available in sizes from 1/4" to 6" dia. by up to 16" long with 0.015" to 0.040" thick walls and various colors, depending upon the material and construction, BMS Custom Molded Bellows can be integrated with straight tubing to simplify alignment or compensate for vibration. Applications include suction or dispensing liquids, pumping, leveling, and cushioning.
