Farmingdale, New York, May 13, 2007...Memory Protection Devices, Inc. introduces a new battery holder, model number "BHD-2" for "D" size batteries. Targeted applications are oil companies, military products and industrial equipment requiring high reliability. Featuring easy battery changes without tools and light weight with high strength. Built in reverse battery protection prevents contact when battery is inserted backwards. PCB mounting with twin 0.1" wide PCB tails for stability and strength or use the two wire holes on the contact tails for hard wiring. Contacts are nickel plated -stainless steel 0.026" thick and are tougher than the competitions. The PBT body offers excellent chemical and solvent resistance with a broad temperature range of -40°c to +140°c continuous and short duration peaks of 215°c.
