BCL 31 / 32 : Barcode Readers with Auto REflAct
Leuze-Lumiflex introduces yet another advance in the field of barcode readers. The newest addition is the barcode reader series 31 / 32 which is expertly suited for use in the transportation of pallets or multipacks. One of the BCL 31 / 32's
main benefits is it's high degree of flexibility. This flexibility comes from the new AutoREflAct technology, which activates the barcode reading process automatically. While in standby mode the scanner closes the scan-gate with a nearly round shape beam. When an object breaks an activation reflector, the scanner opens the scan-gate to a preset scan-width and decodes the barcode. Once past the reflector the barcode reader will automatically deactivate itself. With integrated RS485 or RS 232 the BCL 31 / 32 shows it's networking flexibility by allowing up to 32 scanners to be connected within one network. The BCL 31 / 32 has a reading range of 0 to 450mm and a maximum reading speed of up to 1,000 scans per second.
