A&D Weighing Expands Its Popular GF Series Balance Line
Milpitas, CA - April 2, 2002- A&D Weighing broadens its GF laboratory balance line to 11 models providing a wider selection of capacities and resolutions. The new models are the GF-400 (410g) and the GF-600 (610g), with 0.001g resolution, the GF-4000 (4,100g) and GF-6000 (6,100g) with resolution of 0.01g; and the GF-8000, 8,100g x 0.1g.
The line now spans a full range of capacities and resolutions from 210g x 0.001g to 8,100g x 0.1g filling a broad spectrum of weighing applications.
All A&D GF balances incorporate the A&D Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) that dramatically improves response time to an amazing one (1) second, and reduces maintenance cost with its simple and reliable design.
New GF balances have the same outstanding features as the originals including a bright vacuum fluorescent display, animal weighing mode, comparator function, parts counting with ACAI
(Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement), and percentage functions.
These balances also have an IP54 splash proof keyboard and display, calibration output for GLP/GMP/ISO compliance, bi-directional RS-232C, display auto power off, data memory, and
underhook for density determination or weighing magnetic substances.
GF balances allow the user to select standard weighing units (g, lb, oz, lb/oz, ct, dwt, ozt, GN, mom) or program their own custom units. The balances come with large square weighing pans, a front leveling bubble, and an instruction card that swings out from the bottom of the balance for quick reference. In addition, a free copy of WinCT®, A&D's powerful and flexible data
collection software tool, is shipped with each balance.
