Meet 2014 NFPA Requirements with the NEW KB Duct Backdraft Damper
Greensboro, North Carolina — Meeting 2015 NFPA requirements just got easier with the introduction of the new KB Duct Backdraft Damper. The installation of an Explosion Isolation Device on all suction side ducts that transport material with a KST value above zero is now an NFPA requirement that you can now easily meet with KB Duct's no-return explosion isolation valve. Installation of this valve will protect workers and facilities from the damaging effets of a baghouse or filter explosion.
Constructed from heavy duty welded steel, the valve is ATEX certified, has a flanged inlet and outlet with coflanges, an inspection access door, grounding lug and locking mechanism. The KB-NRV is 100% NFPA 69-2014 compliant and is available in three options: micro-switch for system shut down, dust level sensor and control panel for sensor power and integration. No return valves available in dimentions from 7" to 28" and rated for Class ST 3 Applications Kst max 300 bar m/s p red 0.50 bar and 32" to 40" rated for Class ST 2 Applications Kst max 299 bar m/s P red 0.25 bar.
