Cashco Introduces Auxiliary Loaded Regulator
Ellsworth, Kansas, USA – With the recent introduction of a new ALR-1 (Auxiliary Loaded Regulator), customers and clients of Cashco Inc., will have a new regulator option.
Clint Rogers, General Manager, Cashco, Inc. explains, “the ALR-1 will have a back pressure regulator (unloader) mounted onto it like the previously introduced ULR-1 and PTR-1 valves. However, instead of the inlet pressure feeding into the cover dome, an auxiliary air supply, such as air from a compressor, will feed the cover dome. The supply air must be environmentally safe since it will be constantly bleeding to the atmosphere. Since the main valve’s media isn’t feeding the cover dome, that media can be either corrosive or non-corrosive.”
This product allows customers to either adjust the setting at point of use with an airset or through their control room when mounted with an I/P transducer. The ALR-1 provides excellent performance on applications when set points vary frequently. The unit is an easy and cost effective replacement for control valves on pressure control applications.
