New Variable Speed Drive Compressor Combines Performance With Energy Savings
MICHIGAN CITY, IN- Responding to market demand for a compressor that combines high performance with energy savings, Sullair Corporation is pleased to introduce its LS-1 6V Air Compressor with Variable Speed Drive (VSD). The VSD optimizes compressor output by precisely matching system demand, to provide significant energy savings. The LS-16V is available in 75 and 100 hp, from 225 to 450 cfm and pressure ratings of 100 to 175 psig. Both air-cooled and water-cooled models are available.
Notable for its superior package design and reliable Sullair air end, the LS-1 6V compressor features a Sullair Supervisor Controller, which accurately monitors and controls the compressor. The Supervisor has built-in sequencing capabilities for multiple compressors.
Other outstanding features include Multi-Stage Air/Fluid Separation (MSS), which reduces fluid carry-over to less than 1 ppm; Bearing Fluid Reservoir (BFR), which assures that fluid is available at startup; and Sullair's versatile Control System (VCS), which provides optimum part-load control.
The LS-16V also includes a built-in aftercooler, heavy-duty intake air filter and spin-on fiberglass fluid filter. The compressor's premium efficient motor is direct coupled to the air end for extended bearing life.
