Scapa Offers Medical Grade Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape
Windsor, Connecticut -August 15, 2002. Scapa Medical offers Bioflex® Rx100P, a single coated medical grade pressure sensitive adhesive tape for direct skin application. Breathable, conformable, and lightweight, Rx100P is ideal for TENS, EKG electrode and bandage applications.
The product consists of a breathable white spunlaced polyester fabric coated on one side with a medical grade acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that carries a Device Master File Number with the Bureau of Medical Devices. Rx100P is supplied on a white, polycoated, stay-flat, easy-release liner that allows for easy die cutting. The medical grade adhesive system used on Rx100P provides good adhesion to skin, yet removes cleanly without causing skin trauma.
