Adhesive/Sealant bonds and encapsulates.

Press Release Summary:

MNRC 04-1347 UV light curing resin is based on aliphatic urethane acrylate monomer blend. At 1 mil thickness, it cures in 10 to 15 seconds with UV light. Transparent liquid is suitable for clear bonds or encapsulation. It bonds to metal, ceramic, glass, and many plastics. MNRC 04-1347 is thixotropic at 25 deg C, and cures to 40-50 Shore A with elongation of 150%. Operating temperature range is -40 to 125 deg C.

MERECO MRC 04-1347

UV Light Curable Adhesive/Sealant for Bonding and Encapsulating

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Mereco MRC 04-1347 is a part of a new class of Mereco UV/Visible Light curing adhesive/sealants designed to form very high strength bonds and encapsulation to many substrates such as metal, ceramic, glass and many plastics. It is particularly flexible and demonstrates outstanding elongation and memory. Mereco MRC 04-1347 will cure to a tack-free surface. The extreme softness and high elongation properties make Mereco MRC 04-1347 suitable for applications such as potting, encapsulating, stress relief, conformal coating, sealing, form-in-place gaskets and as a possible replacement for silicones (either UV curing or RTV's) and flexible epoxies.
