The Gluefast Company Introduces Skid-Lock(R) Quikset-50 Adhesive
Gluefast's SKID-LOCK® Quickset-50 is a revolutionary adhesive product that provides high shear (side to side) strength and low "tensile" (up and down) strength. This makes it an ideal adhesive for palletizing loads - prohibiting stacked boxes from shifting during storage while permitting the load to be easily broken when lifted straight up. This new formula is faster setting than previous versions of SKID-LOCK(R).
Because different pallet loads may require different product amounts, the company recommends starting at 0.5-1.0 gram per linear foot (30cm) applied. If applied in extruded form a very thin bead is all that's required to secure a bond. SKID-LOCK® Quikset-50 can be applied by using a brush, a squeeze bottle or pressurized extrusion/spray systems available from Gluefast. It cleans easily and requires little or no maintenance. Like all SKID-LOCK® products, the need for stretch wrapping is reduced or eliminated!
