100W to 150W Adapter Power Supplies Meet DoE Level VI Efficiency Standards
TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the TDK-Lambda DT100D and DT150D adapter power supplies compliant with level VI efficiency standards. Suitable for a variety of test and measurement, communications and industrial applications, the adapters meet the new stringent average efficiency and no-load power regulations, mandated by the US DoE applicable from February 2016.
Accepting a 90 to 264VAC input, the 100 to 150W adapters are available with 12V to 48V outputs and can operate in ambient temperatures up to +60oC (de-rating applies above 40 oC). In addition to satisfying Energy Efficiency Level VI with an average efficiency of greater than 87% and an off-load power draw of less than 150mW, the products also meet EU Tier 2 requirements.
The series is housed in a rugged, vent-free enclosure, measuring 85 x 170 x 44mm. AC is applied using a standard IEC 60320-C13 cable and DC provided through a four pin Power-DIN connector. Other connectors are available upon request. The adapters also feature over-voltage and over-current protection.
The DT100/150-D models have been certified to UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2-No.60950-1, EN 60950-1, IEC 60950-1, and are CE marked for the LVD and RoHS2 Directives. All units meet EN 55022-B, FCC Class B conducted & radiated emissions and EN55024 immunity standards.
