Hudson, MA – Protek Power announces the release of the PM1100 Series.
This Series of medical AC/DC switching power supplies delivers 1100 watts of continuous power (with 1250 watts peak) in a compact package layout of 5.91” x 9.25” x 2.4”. Supplies are highly efficient and intelligently designed with innovative technologies including a resonant, zero-switching topology. A single main PCB and enclosed U-Chassis format are used for lower cost with mechanical robustness and heatsinking. The PM1100 Series is designed for medical applications, including those needing BF rated insulation, and features leakage current of less than 300uA leakage current and operating altitude up to 5000 meters.
The Series offers a universal input voltage range of 90-264VAC with single output voltages of 24V, 28V, 32V, 34V, 36V, 42V, and 48V with a 5V/200mA standby output. Standard features of this Series include inhibit/PS-off and DC OK signals, a variable speed internal fan, overvoltage/overcurrent/thermal protection, and a MTBF of 300,000 hours at full load/25°C ambient (per MIL-HDBK-217F). The operating temperature range is -10°C to +70°C and the storage temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
All models from the PM1100 Series meet worldwide safety standard approvals including; UL60601-1 4th Edition, UL ES60601-1, UL60950-1, CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1 File No. E178020, CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1, TÃœV EN60601-1 4th Edition, IEC60601-1-2, EN55011 Class B/FCC Class B/VCCI Class B, CE and RoHS requirements.
