New D-Subminiature Y Adapters/Splitters Expand Serial Ports
NORTH ANDOVER, MA - L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, now carries a line of Y adapters/splitters for three common D-Subminiature connectors: DB9, DB15 and DB25. Each adapter comes male to two female connectors, wired 1 : 1 to evenly split signals.
The new adapters solve serial splitting needs that had previously been met using custom-wired cables or adapters. They come fully shielded and with 30 microinch gold plating on the contacts for repeated mating cycles. The light gray molded casing on them is made of rigid PVC to increase their ruggedness and longevity.
