Suitable for high force positioning applications, Model VCS08-700-08-350-CR-01-MC-XY is driven by 3 NCC moving coil type linear actuators. Closed loop system is guided by dual crossed roller bearings on X-Axis and precision linear rail on Y-Axis. Each voice coil, providing 0.80 in. stroke, generates 35 lb of continuous force and 105 lb of peak force, or combined 70 lb continuous force and 210 lb of peak force on X-Axis. One micron resolution linear encoder is included on each axis.

High Acceleration XY Voice Coil Positioning Stage
H2W Technologies introduces a high acceleration, voice coil driven, XY positioning stage with a precision bearing system, which minimizes the amount of pitch, yaw, and roll in the system. The voice coil stage (VCS08-700-08-350-CR-01-MC-XY) is a closed loop positioning system that can be used for high force positioning applications. The stage is driven by three NCC moving coil type linear actuators and is guided by dual crossed roller bearings on the X-Axis (bottom axis) and a precision linear rail on the Y-Axis (top axis). Each voice coil has a 0.80" [20.3 mm] stroke; generate 35 lbs [159 N] of continuous force and 105 lbs [477 N] of peak force, or a combined 70 lbs [318 N] continuous force and 210 lbs [953 N] of peak force on the X-Axis (bottom axis). It includes a 1 micron resolution linear encoder on each axis. Voice coil positioning stages are ideal for applications that require quick, short moves with fast settling times.
