Anritsu Introduces Food Processing Industry's Most Accurate X-Ray Inspection System for Finished Cased Product

Buffalo Grove, IL - Capable of detecting typical industry metal specifications of 0.8 - 1.5mm ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless metals in finished cased food products, the new KD7447DWH is the industry's leader in X-Ray Inspection System Technology.

The KD7447DWH uses advanced High Definition (HD) sensor and image processing technology to automatically and simultaneously detect contaminants, underweight conditions and other packaging anomalies. Applications include scanning for bone or hypodermic needle fragments in meat products and detecting metallic and dense materials, such as glass or stone, in food packages. Ideal for inspecting packaged meats and cheeses, the KD7447DWH is also recommended for use in bakery and bulk processing applications.

A masking function allows items, such as clips on sausages and metallic packaging, to be ignored as they pass through the inspection system. The system can also be programmed to reject non-conforming packages, including packages with missing products.

Features of the KD7447DWH include a full suite of versatile imaging algorithms, including Virtual Weighing (with an accuracy of +/- 1% to 3%) as standard. Product set-up, including x-ray power settings, reject timing, contaminant algorithms and virtual weighing, is accomplished by following an easy to understand set-up wizard.

The KD7447DWH's optional QuiCCA QC data collection software is compatible with existing inspection software. Ethernet connections, USB data collection and historical data collection are standard. A large 15" color display is included as standard for easy operation.

For quick and easy maintenance and cleaning, the KD7447DWH's conveyor can be disassembled quickly without tools. The conveyor is IP66 compliant with a full IP66 package available.

The KD7447DWH can save you money, protect your brand, protect the consumer and assure that your product is free of major metal contaminants while providing additional food safety and quality issues.
