Professional-Grade Cougar Pro(TM) Line of Hand Tools Expands
with Addition of Combination and Reversible-Ratcheting Wrench Sets
BARBERTON, OHIO - The Cougar Pro(TM) line of competitively priced, professional-grade hand tools has expanded. The additions to the line include combination wrench and reversible-ratcheting combination wrench sets.
The Cougar Pro combination wrenches are available in two SAE sets and two metric sets. The 11-piece SAE set (#E911) and the 14-piece SAE set (#E914) consist of wrenches ranging in sizes from 3/8- to 1 1/4-inches. The 11-piece metric set (M950) and the 18-piece metric set (M958) consist of wrenches ranging in sizes from 7- to 24-millimeters.
The Cougar Pro reversible-ratcheting combination wrenches are available in two sets comprised of one SAE and one metric set. The 72-teeth ratcheting action turns fasteners with only a 5-degree arc swing. The wrenches feature a small head profile design and are made for high torque capacity from high-alloy steel. The 8-piece SAE set (#E8SRCW) consists of wrenches ranging in sizes from 5/16- to 3/4-inches. The 8-piece metric set (#M8MRCW) consists of wrenches ranging in sizes from 8- to 19-millimeters.
All Cougar Pro combination wrenches and reversible-ratcheting combination wrenches are equipped with ergonomic handles that fit the hand comfortably. The 12-point box end with off-corner torque loading provides greater strength. The 15-degree box-end bend allows for hand clearance and the 15-degree open-end offset allows for full engagement depth for fasteners. Wrenches are polished with chrome-plated finishes and are stamped with the size on both sides for easy identification. Each wrenches' length was engineered for proper leverage for each opening size.
