Introducing the Latest in Protective Wrapping Technology

Following our tradition of constant innovation, EDL introduces the "Protecta Pack Hibrid" system which combines Bundling and Stretch technology. This system applies a sleeve of poly foam, bubble film, LDPE or high abuse film to protect the top, bottom, leading and trailing faces of the package. Following is a horizontal wrap of stretch film to fully enclose and hold the protective material in place. This process positions a dual layer of protective material around the edges and corners of the product where it is most vulnerable. Unlike corrugate, film is non abrasive protecting surfaces and finishes. It can also be clear to provide product visibility and reduce possible damage from improper handling or abuse. The Hibrid system operates on various product sizes at random and tensions the flexible material to the shape and size of the product.

The Protecta Pack Hibrid combines the flexibility and protection of bundling with the holding power and low energy consumption of stretch wrap.
