March 23, 2010 - Available in metric sizes, KWG Series Hobbed Worm Gears and AG Series Worm Wheels provide over 403 ways to transmit motion at 90° angle to shaft, offering solution to power transmission design applications. Gears are 4140 alloy steel and wheels are CAC702 aluminum bronze. Bore diameters for worm gears range from 4-250 mm and worm shaft lengths range from 13-32.5 mm.

Garden City Park, NY -- A new Series of metric worm gears and worm wheels from Quality Transmission Components - QTC provides over 403 ways to transmit motion at a 90° angle to the shaft as an ideal solution to many power transmission design applications.
These hobbed worm gears, identified as the KWG... (worm shafts) and AG... Series (worm wheels) are stocked in 4140 alloy steel for the worms and CAC702 aluminum bronze for the worm wheels. Bore diameters for worm gears range from 4 mm to 250 mm and worm shaft lengths range from 13 mm to 32.5 mm. These gears are produced by KHK Co. Ltd. under an exclusive distribution arrangement with QTC in the US. They are featured at the QTC eStore where you can order online, request a quote, download CAD models, check stock plus view catalog specifications and technical pages.

Other power transmission solutions provided by QTC include over 7,000 off-the-shelf gears including spur, helical, miter, bevel, internal, rack, gear couplings, spline shafts, gearboxes, and other components for prototypes and production applications.
