The HDG-350, heavy duty worm gear winch has a rated first layer line pull of 10,000. The winch meets the SAE J706 standard and is manufactured in the Ramsey Winch facility, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "The important thing being introduced with this winch is that the line speed of this WORM gear design matches the line speed of a similar capacity Planetary Winch. Now the vehicle operator can choose the winch design, either worm or planetary, and achieve the same operating capacity and speed," according to Phil Halt, Marketing Product Manager for Ramsey Winch.
