Mast Climbing Work Platforms Focus on Safety and Reliability

Bridgeport, CT- Alimak Hek, the world's leading manufacturer of mast climbing work platforms, announces the HEK MS ProMax. Designed and developed to meet customer demands for higher payload, faster travel speeds at 36 feet per minute and longer platforms at up to 50 feet for a single, the MS ProMax has proven to be a safe and reliable means of facade access - both in freestanding and anchored configurations.

When used in conjunction with the Megadeck central deck section, maximum platform length is 126 feet, and the HEK MS ProMax can be used for heights up to 660 feet. A new gearbox design in the drive unit enables a 57% increase in travel speed to 36ft per minute making it more convenient for contractors working on very high-rise applications. Even with the higher speeds, the HEK MS ProMax, has a payload capacity of 11,000 lbs (twin mast) or 6,600 lbs (single mast), can be used for many medium- to heavy-duty applications.

All HEK machines are manufactured in facilities certified to ISO 9001 standards to ensure quality and are fitted with overload protection devices and centrifugal braking systems as standard. For example, the machine will not operate if access gates are not properly closed.
