Pam Fastening High Productivity Joiner for Fusing Wood and Plastic Profiles in Frame Shops Available
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA --- A new generation high productivity joiner for precise fusing of wood or plastic profiles for producing picture, photo and door frames is now available from PAM Fastening Technology, Inc.
The IM5 PT Joiner from PAM Fastening joins hard and soft wood molding up to 6 inches wide and 4¼ inches high. A tilt base holds the frame in a convenient position for joining while a nailing head moves from one position to the next. This allows joining the frame while it is held in one position. In addition, since controls can be set in one position, multiple fasteners can be stacked for secure joints in thicker molding.
Key Operating Criteria
A conveniently located joystick controls the IM5 PT Joiner, allowing for easy operation and maneuverability. The joystick can be easily relocated for easy operation by either right or left-handed operators. An internal adjustment system allows the changing of fastener size without plates and spaces or tools.
Two vertical and one horizontal adjustable and pneumatically driven clamps securely hold the frame for easy handling and safety. This also ensures a quality finish to the joined product. Hydraulic clamps are optional.
Specifications Given
The PAM Fastening IM5-PT joiner is durable yet designed for easy operation. Fasteners are available in 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15 mm lengths for versatility. Ninety psi of compressed air is required, but no other utilities are necessary for operation.
The Joiner weights 150 lbs. Dimensions of the unit are 18¾ inches wide by 22¾ inches deep by 50½ inches high.
