Stackpole's SWT/EWT High Power Tubular Wirewounds Now Available with Hardware Mounting Kits

RALEIGH, NC (Sept. 8, 2009) - Stackpole Electronics now offers hardware kits for the SWT/EWT Tubular wirewound sizes 25, 50, 100, and 225 watts. These kits can be ordered by ordering SWTM or EWTM and are also available separately. To order the hardware kits separately simply add "HDW KIT" after the part type and size, i.e. EWT 50 HDW KIT for the hardware kit corresponding to the 50 watt part size. Hardware kits eliminate the guesswork when mounting these large parts to machinery, cabinets, or enclosures.

Tubular wirewounds are a popular choice for high power shunt resistors, dynamic braking, load resistors, power distribution, large motor controls, and high power test instruments.

Nearly a hundred SWT and EWT hardware kits are in stock for the above sizes at Digi-key and are also available directly from Stackpole. Pricing for the kits ranges from around $2.00 each to $8.00 each depending on volume. Contact Stackpole for volume pricing.
