Send Your Temperature Data to the Cloud!

Wireless Temperature Monitoring Solutions for HVAC and More

CHESTERLAND OH — Need to keep an eye on your product or environmental temperatures no matter where you go? Now CAS DataLoggers introduces the latest in wireless temperature monitoring from Paragon Robotics. These new temperature dataloggers are ideal for monitoring HVAC performance and occupant comfort in buildings and facilities, server rooms, greenhouses, museums, schools and other storage facilities where temperature levels are critically important. When connected to a Wireless Gateway, these data loggers automatically send their readings to an onsite PC or to Paragon’s HaloCloud service where you can view your data and receive alarms online from any Internet-connected device.

With a compact size convenient for easy installation, Paragon products are ideal for HVAC validation and many other uses. Advanced features such as alarming and field calibration are built-in. These data loggers offer extended communications range, noise immunity and best-in-class security. Additionally, their unprecedented battery life of 7-10 years makes it easy to perform short-term measurement tasks or to undertake decade-long studies without changing a single battery!

Wireless Temperature Sensors:

Paragon’s wireless temperature data loggers (SC1 model) can measure from -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F) and require the use of a Wireless Gateway (GW2 or GW3 models). With a low-power design, these data loggers are compliant to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. We also offer an Improved-Range temperature sensor (SC11 model) which has the longest wireless range of all Paragon temperature sensors and has fully-upgradeable firmware. Both data logger versions also include a pair of AAA batteries.

Wireless Gateways Transmit Data & Alarms:

The brains of the system, each wireless gateway transmits orders and receives info from the other sensors and data loggers. Each gateway covers 30,000 sq. ft. with its high-performance and extended-range RF transceiver, giving it a 0.3-Mile line of sight capability. The gateways have a fast 10Mbps Ethernet port for connection to local network router, PC or server. The gateways also offer advanced wireless and data security with frequency hopping and AES-256 encryption.

One wireless gateway is required for each site and oversees each wireless network. The gateway also relays communications between all wireless sensors and a connected PC or local network. Onboard storage is used to store decades of logged data from the connected sensors in its wireless network. The gateway can also be configured to work with our optional cloud service, allowing remote monitoring, control, and alarms for the entire system.

Our Wireless Gateways come in Standard and Premium models. The Standard GW2 Gateway features 4GB of on-board memory for data storage and provides interconnectivity for up to 6 Halo/S™ devices at once. If your system will have more than 6 sensor devices, use the Premium GW3 Gateway instead which features 32GB of on-board memory and allows interconnectivity for an unlimited number of Halo/S™ devices at once. The Premium Gateway also comes with an AC wall adapter.

Free Remote Management Software:

Each Paragon product includes FREE Data Recorder Software. Using a single interface, you can view and manage all connected sensors and controls to calibrate, log, chart, and manage every aspect of your installation. This software takes you through the initial system setup for your hardware and software. In addition to system setup such as security and HaloCloud access, all hardware is configured using the widget as well. Multiple computers or other browser-based devices can be used to access the same Halo/S network when set up separately.

Additional tools such as SystemSimulator are also available for free download to model any building and analyze the heating and cooling costs for any climate.

HaloCloud Service:

Gain remote access to your systems to view your data from anywhere in the world with Paragon’s HaloCloud service. Multiple sites can be seamlessly viewed and controlled from a single interface. Data can be seamlessly fed into 3rd-party software systems, making it ideal for energy analytics, environmental monitoring and industrial automation. Pricing is based on number of devices connected.

With this innovative cloud service, Paragon data loggers can capture and log data, transmit the readings wirelessly, and automatically execute custom programs. A monitoring subscription allows you to set up remote email or text (SMS) alarms to prevent damage to your temperature-sensitive products and closely monitor specific environments.

Paragon’s new wireless HVAC solutions can also monitor other parameters including humidity, AC current, voltage, 4-20mA signals, light/motion and more. Check out the entire Paragon Robotics product family at http://www.dataloggerinc.com/manufacturers/Paragon_Robotics/104/.
