Wireless Sensors are fault tolerant and battery powered.

Press Release Summary:

Used for data logging, alerting, and compliance, ZPoint can transmit every 5 min for up to 5 years on 2 AA batteries. Transmission distances reach 1,000 ft outdoors and 300 ft, even with obstructions and obstacles, within buildings. Fault-tolerant design continues to report data to cloud if AC power is lost and stores/forwards sensor readings upon wireless signals interruption. Other features include internal temperature or temperature/humidity sensor and 2 external sensor input jacks.

Temperature@lert Debuts ZPoint Wireless Sensor Line

BOSTON, MA – Temperature@lert (www.TemperatureAlert.com) announced the release of their wireless sensor line, ZPoint. After years of research, development, and thorough field-testing from government agencies and other partners worldwide, this leader in environmental monitoring solutions premieres their fault-tolerant, battery-powered wireless sensor line for data logging, alerting, and compliance.

Their latest innovation allows users to place sensors wirelessly to monitor hard-to-reach spots that would typically require extensive cabling and/or power for functionality. Even with obstructions and obstacles within a building, ZPoint wireless sensors are able to transmit readings from up to 300 feet indoors and up to 1,000 feet outdoors. The ZPoint wireless sensors can transmit every 5 minutes for up to 5 years on the two included AA batteries. The fault-tolerant design continues to report data to the cloud if AC power is lost and can store and forward thousands of sensor readings if wireless signals are interrupted.

The ZPoint system works in conjunction with Temperature@lert’s ZPoint Cellular Edition for both indoor and outdoor monitoring. Their standard ZPoint Cellular Edition can handle up to 15 ZPoint wireless sensors, while their industrial gateway can monitor up to 25 ZPoint wireless sensors. Each ZPoint wireless sensor includes an internal temperature or combination temperature/humidity sensor, as well as two additional input jacks that can handle a variety of external plug-and-play smart sensors for flood, dry contact, 4-20mA, 0-5VDC, pressure, rain, wind, and more.

“Temperature@lert’s ZPoint is a game changer for those seeking fault-tolerant wireless monitoring solutions with redundancy over multiple cellular carriers. After extensive field-testing, it is great to see that our wireless technology has been released to the market. We’re now able to provide enterprise-class wired and wireless sensor solutions,” said Harry Schechter, Temperature@lert CEO & President. Schechter also stated that, “Temperature@lert’s wireless sensor capabilities only expand upon what has already been successfully implemented, thus being able to offer an even more cost-effective temperature monitoring solution to IT, Commercial Refrigeration, Property/Facility Management, Food Services, Laboratory Research, as well as a number of other industries. Our company motto has always been to avert disasters instead of mopping them up, and we hope to continue to be the prime choice in monitoring solutions.”
