Cyberwire WifiR (802.11) Wireless Radio For Communication

KEYTROLLER, LLC. announces the release of a new CYBERWIRE WiFiR (802.11) wireless radio for communication between it's LCD monitoring system and a WiFi a/b/g LAN
network.

The KEYTROLLER LCD is an RFID enabled access and monitoring device popular with
forklifts and other industrial equipment. More and more industrial customers today have
employed a LAN wireless network in their plants. Keytroller's new CYBERWIRE WiFiR
radio allows direct communication for downloading event log data, programming the device and sending text messages directly to the machine from the host PC within the facility.

The WiFiR allows equipment to move or "roam" between several APs (access points) within the facility. Equipment event log data is transmitted directly to WiFi access points in the ceiling which directs the data through the hard wired network and the KEYPATROLLER client server communication software where it is filtered, graphed and evaluated.

The new WiFiR has embedded configuration firmware built in to assist the installer-
programmer. The WiFiR is WEB configured using built in Ethernet or WLAN connection.
Secure data access is assured with WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption.

This wireless option eliminates the intensive labor in finding vehicles in the plant and performing uploads or downloads. KEYPATROLLER software continuously scans for
vehicles within range of any AP in the facility and automatically downloads data as it is available.

Model: WiFiR

Installation of the WiFiR is simple----just plugs into the LCD unit's RS232 serial port so it can be retrofitted to any existing KEYTROLLER LCD monitoring device.
