Wireless Alarm Monitoring
TextMitter, Inc introduces the "Tbox20" by Teltonika. The device, when mounted on remote equipment, will "text message" your cell phone in the event of an alarm condition. This allows you the freedom to conduct your routine maintenance anywhere, and you will receive a text message from your remote equipment when it detects an alarm or change in any equipment condition. More than one cell phone may be notified.
Typical applications include security systems, irrigation and fire alarm, building surveillance and control, heating and lighting control and remote monitoring of equipment.
The Tbox accepts up to 4 digital inputs (contact transfer) and 2 analog inputs (0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA). When digital contacts change or the analog input crosses over a preset value, the Tbox sends your programmed text message to your designated cell phone(s). You may also program it to transfer up to 4 relays (240 volt, 7Amp DPST).
The Tbox utilizes a SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) card that is available with activation for $10.00 and a year's service contract for $10.00 per month. An international cell phone service provider offers this program and any cell phone may receive the text messaged down the street or across the world.
The Tbox comes complete with antenna having 2.5-meter cable. An optional power supply, a NEMA 4 enclosure and a low cost thermistor for sensing temperature are available.
