AirLive Introduced WLA-5200AP

A Better Choice for 802.11a/b/g Multi-function Wireless Access Point

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 3 /-- AirLive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for LAN and WLAN equipments announced its WLA-5200AP, the 802.11a/b/g Wireless Multi-function Access Point that is a dual band wireless device running in 5GHz or 2.4GHz spectrum. The biggest advantage of this product for the Latin American market is that it can extend the coverage from 5km to 7km. Compared with its competitors, it is the best option for longer distance and locations requesting better signals.

AirLive WLA-5200AP is an innovative Access Point which features seven wireless modes all in one and enables more powerful wireless applications. It is not necessary to download 3rd party firmware as our new firmware version e9 fits the need of South American WISP.

The wireless seven modes of firmware:

-- Bridge Mode: To connect 2 LANs together wirelessly.
-- Client Mode: To turn the WLA-5200AP into a wireless card so you can connect with remote AP.
-- WDS Repeater: To increase the wireless coverage of a WDS enabled AP/Router
-- Universal Repeater: To extend the wireless coverage of another wireless AP or Router even your AP/Router does not have WDS function.
-- WISP Mode: Similar to the Client Mode. IP sharing function is added so you can share the WISP connection with many PCs.
-- WISP+Universal Repeater: Allows you to share WISP connection on both wireless and wired side

Besides the powerful seven modes of wireless applications, AirLive WLA-5200AP supports WEP encryption, WPA and WPA2 which ensure that your data and privacy are properly protected, as well as making your wireless network a high level of security.
