Lincoln Electric's Compact Wire Welders

Power MIG® 140 and 180 Models Feature Premium Arc Control and Offer Precision Aluminum Welding Solution

o Diamond Core Technology(TM) delivers a premium arc across entire welding range and provides for enhanced aluminum and stainless steel welding
o Rugged cast aluminum drive provides rigid wire alignment for more reliable feeding
o New optional spool gun delivers reliable aluminum feeding performance at an extremely economical price

Cleveland - Looking for a new compact MIG and flux-cored wire welder ideal for home, farm, auto body, small shop maintenance or light-duty fabrication applications? Lincoln Electric's four new Power MIG® 140 and 180 models deliver an unmatched compact welding solution for professional welders and home hobbyists alike. Whichever model you choose, Lincoln Diamond Core Technology® and the rugged drive system aid arc performance for MIG welding on thin gauge steel, stainless and aluminum or on gasless flux-cored welding for deep penetration on thicker steel, even outdoors.

Power MIG 140 models are designed to run on common 120 volt household current so you can tackle welding projects almost anywhere. With an amperage range of 30-140 amps, you can MIG weld single pass up to 10 ga. (.135") and perform self-shielded flux-cored multiple pass welds up to 5/16".

Power MIG 180 models run on 208-230 volt input power and, with an amperage range of 25-180 amps, give you plenty of power to MIG weld single pass up to 3/16" and perform self-shielded flux-cored multiple pass up to ½".

In addition, Power MIG 140 and 180 models are each offered with two levels of voltage control. Select the economical 140T or 180T with simple tapped voltage control for basic MIG and flux-cored welding. Choose the 140C or 180C with continuous voltage control for more critical projects where precise adjustment is required.

The new Power MIG 140 and 180 feature Lincoln's arc enhancement innovation, Diamond Core Technology(TM) - ensuring superior arc starting, reduced spatter, a wider performance sweet spot and enhanced aluminum and stainless steel performance.

The welder's rigid cast aluminum drive delivers precise wire alignment for improved wire feeding. This professional-level wire drive includes a brass-to-brass gun connection for enhanced long-term connectivity and a patented split wire guide delivering full wire path support with reduced birdnesting, controlled wire alignment and tool-less service access. Its industrial dual gear-driven drive system delivers positive traction without crushing the wire. And the tool-less, quick-lock drive roll system makes changeovers fast.

Adding the optional Magnum 100SG spool gun is the lowest cost way to add reliable and precise spool gun wire feeding performance for soft aluminum wire. Its easy to set up, does not require a bulky outboard adapter/power module and shares gun expendable parts with the standard MIG gun included with the Power MIG models.

All Lincoln Power MIG models are backed by a three-year Lincoln warranty.
