New Insulated Version of IDEAL Reflex(TM) Super T-Stripper
Puts Added Safety Into Electrician's Hands
SYCAMORE, IL, April 1, 2009 -- Electricians are constantly exposed to hazards, often by the very tools they use everyday. To minimize this danger IDEAL has introduced an insulated version of its popular Reflex(TM) Super T-Stripper. The new tool is the first to be UL and VDE listed and certified to 1000V AC for exceptional safety in any working environment.
The insulated Reflex Super T-Stripper features a high-visibility orange outer-surface handle that resists oil, perspiration, water and chemicals. Its permanently bonded inner-surface handle is bright yellow so it acts as an "at-a-glance" safety monitoring system. If the outer orange coating reveals any of the inner yellow, the electrician knows it is time to replace the tool. Large finger stops guard against accidental contact with exposed metal tool parts.Sleeves are extended to the stripping head to cushion the user's thumb and fingers.
Electricians will find the insulated Reflex Super T-Stripper as functional as the original. It features the same 45° curved handle, delivering the benefits of a more natural hold and a reduced occurrence of repetitive motion fatigue injuries, including common wrist stress. Its multi-purpose pliers nose has precision-ground, knife type blades that achieve clean, accurate stripping of wires in a range of #8 to #16 solid and #10 to #18 stranded. Easy-to-read laser markings and convenient looping holes make the most challenging stripping jobs trouble-free. The black oxide finish on the blades resists damaging corrosion to promise a long service life.
The insulated Reflex Super T-Stripper (part # 45-9615) is part of IDEAL's full line of insulated hand tools.
