Reclaim High-Value Copper with NEXGEN Prospector(TM) Wire Processor

NEXGEN®, a division of Marathon Equipment Company, introduced the Prospector(TM) Wire Processor to attendees of ISRI 2007 in New Orleans last week. The Prospector(TM) is an addition to their line of scrap processing and recycling equipment. The Prospector(TM) efficiently and effectively reclaims copper and aluminum from scrap electrical wire. Wire enters the granulation chamber through a hopper where the system grinds the wire using three rotating and two stationary knives. The chopped material then travels to a separation chamber via the enclosed air-flow system. In the separation chamber, the copper and aluminum is dry-separated from its plastic, PVC, or other insulation for clean, high-value #1 chops. Equipped with a dust collection system and fully soundproofed, the Prospector(TM) adds no dust and minimal sound to its environment. Each unit is easy to move and install, is easily maintained, and has low power requirements. Choose from four models: WP 200, WP 400, WP 800, and WP 160 0 for a throughput range of 200 to 2400 lbs/Hr. For more information, call (800) 269-7237 or visit www.NEXGENbalers.com.
