Profile360(TM) employs CrossCheck laser line sensors and continuously monitors key profile dimensions in complex shapes such as rubber, plastic, and wood-plastic composite extrusions; roll-formed metal profiles; and profiled wire. Online, real-time system monitors multiple channels of width, thickness, radius, and parallelism for wire profiles up to 10 mm. Captured parameters are compared to allowable control limits and displayed on operator terminal with pass/caution/fail status indicator.

Bytewise Announces Profile360 for On-Line Profile Wire Measurement
Bytewise Measurement Systems, a global leader in on-line profile measurement systems, is pleased to announce the launch of the Profile360TM On-Line Profile Measurement System for profiled wire. The system monitors multiple channels of width, thickness, radius, and parallelism for wire profiles up to 10mm in size.
Profile360TM is an on-line, real-time measurement system for continuously monitoring key profile dimensions in complex shapes such as rubber, plastic, and wood-plastic composite extrusions, roll-formed metal profiles, and profiled wire. Profile360 employs CrossCheck laser line sensors manufactured by Bytewise. These multi-sensor systems acquire thousands of data points around the profile and match them a CAD template, where key measurement parameters such as width, thickness, radius, and angle are extracted. Measurement parameters are compared to allowable control limits and displayed on the operator's terminal with a green/yellow/red (pass/caution/fail) status indicator. Profile360 runs at rates up to 15 profiles per second.
