ReelCaddy Wire Caddy & Reel Dispenser

Are you looking for an easy, more efficient, and a cost saving solution for handling cable reels? If so, the new JDV ReelCaddy (models RC01S and RC01L) effortlessly transports buried or aerial service wire from service vehicle to work-location. It handles and dispenses any type of cable reel with I.D. holes of 1-1/4" or larger, up to 23" in diameter, up to 30" in height, and not exceeding 300 lbs.

Now, with JDV's ReelCaddy, the technician has the mobility and versatility to wheel the ReelCaddy right up to the application, dispense and cut the exact amount of cable needed without wasting expensive cable. This makes the lives of any technician a lot easier and increases overall cost savings for the company.

No more heavy lifting when loading the cable reels. By using the ReelCaddy's special loading technique, operators can prevent back strain or injury when loading heavy cable reels. The RC01S and RC01L allow the operator to slide the spool rod through the I.D. of the cable reel, place their foot on the foot pad for secure grip, and use the spool rod as a "lever" to lift the ReelCaddy in an upright position. This loading technique eliminates heavy lifting for the operator. Finally, the operator attaches the "T"-handle and the ReelCaddy is ready to go to work.

The ReelCaddy's box beam design is constructed out of 11-gauge steel for strength and durability and both models come standard with a removable T-handle, 8" premium sealed bearing wheels, foot- grip and an optional brake (RCB1) is available for preventing backlash.
