Code Wizards Make Automating Tasks Even Easier in Macro Scheduler Version 13
Wizards simplify image recognition, keystrokes, mouse actions, screen text capture and more
SHAFTESBURY, England, -- MJT Net Ltd, the leading global provider of Windows automation and scripting solutions, announced the release of Macro Scheduler Version 13. The new version introduces code wizards that make it easier to automate tasks faster, with less coding. It also offers 32 new script functions, faster event handlers, custom error handling, more interoperability with 64-bit applications, statistics about how macros are being used, greater control over hot keys, and user interface improvements.

The 32 scripting enhancements in Version 13 include the ability to search for objects on the screen, return the location, and send keystrokes even when the objects don't have focus. Users can now read data from an Excel file even if they don't have Excel installed on the computer, and can create their own error-handling routines. Event handlers are faster, more types of event handlers are available, and users can create custom event handlers.
Statistics are now available to help determine when a macro was last run, how many times it has been executed, how many lines were executed, total elapsed run-time, and the average time per line. "We included a simple ROI calculator to provide a way to estimate how much time and money the macro has saved the company," added Tettmar. "This is a powerful way to demonstrate the significant contribution macro writers are making to their organizations."
