Model 620 Oscillate Winding System For Secondary Or Downstream Operations

PROGRESSIVE RUESCH MACHINE CO INC introduces our Model "620", oscillate winding system for the winding of ferrous and non-ferrous metal strip. We supply these units for secondary operations such as single strand rewind lines or converting pancake coils into traverse wound stock, as well as level winding product downstream from intermittent operations like
punch press. The 620's versatility makes it an excellent choice for any strip material.

This system features an oscillating spindle that allows the material to remain in a fixed position while the spool moves back and forth. This, along with extremely accurate traverse and pitch control (1/8" - 1 1/2") minimizes camber and results in a more solid, damage free wind build.

The Model 620 features a cantilevered shaft for supporting either spools or cores weighing up to 750 lbs. and a dual supported drop-in shaft for spools up to 2000 lbs. Each individual unit is capable of providing winding tensions of from 3-40 lbs. and is capable of maintaining line speeds of up to 600 fpm.

Options include:

Alarms, either a light or bell to alert operators to specific conditions.

Hardened Rollers for extended service life in severe applications.
