October 1, 2002 - Model MS 103-LD PMC, with dual spindle design, winds continuous lengths of difficult profile products. Both spindles operate through common dancer system to minimize change-over from full to empty spool. Accu-Wind manages machine functions/winding patterns, insuring precise placement of successive layers while maintaining tension and pitch controls. Line speed is rated to 500 FPM, package width and winding diameter is up to 16 in., and package weight is up to 60 lbs.

Model MS 103-LD PMC with ACCU-WIND Control System
PROGRESSIVE MACHINE CO INC introduces our Model "MS 103-LD PMC" exemplifies the state of the art in traverse winding at reasonable cost. This particular dual spindle design was created to solve several problems in winding continuous lengths of a difficult profile product.
Both spindles operate through a common dancer system to minimize change over from full to empty spool. Additionally, the machine incorporates the "Accu-Wind" computer control system to manage all the machine functions and winding patterns into a closely supervised and controlled system. This insures precise placement of successive layers while maintaining tension and pitch controls.
Machine Specifications include: Package width up to 16", winding diameter up to 16", package weight up to 60 pound and line speed up to 500 FPM with Tension Controlled between 3 and 32 ounces. Three pre-programmed winding patterns are available as standard with infinite variations possible.
Options include: Printer function, counters with preset functions, Material Guides, Automatic line speed trim and coiling devices. |
