September 30, 2008 - Operating in L-band from 1,190-1,610 MHz with tuning voltage range of 0.5-8.5 Vdc, RoHS-compliant V585ME04-LF features typical phase noise of -97 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and typical tuning sensitivity of 90 MHz/V. It delivers typical output power of 6.75 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing only 15 mA (typ) over -40 to +85ºC range and comes in 0.50 x 0.50 x 0.22 in. MINI package. Solution is suited for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

Wideband VCO: V585ME04-LF Features Low Phase Noise


SAN DIEGO, September 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V585ME04-LF in L-band. The V585ME04-LF operates from 1190-1610 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-8.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -97 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 90 MHz/V.

The V585ME04-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6.75 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing only 15 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V585ME04-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
