Laird Technologies Releases Two New Wideband Mobile Load Coil Antennas

Performance-Critical Design Delivers Quality and Long-Lasting Value to Demanding Mobile Radio Communications

St. Louis, Missouri, USA - Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of customized, performance-critical components for wireless systems and other advanced electronics applications, today announced the release of its two new wideband mobile load coil antennas, the B1322W and the B1360W.

The B1322W features a field tunable frequency range of 132-174 MHz. The field tunable B1322W allows the user to obtain a lower VSWR than 2:1 at a desired center frequency. The B1360W does not require tuning and covers 136-174 MHz span with a VSWR of 2:1 maximum. Both antennas have an omnidirectional pattern with vertical polarization, and a maximum power of 100 watts.

The antennas include one-piece solid brass inserts, durable ABS injection molded housings, and weather-tight bases with built in 0-rings. Gold push-pin contacts preserve best power transfer over time, and stainless steel whips resist bending and rust.

Other features include a special UV treated radome that resists sun damage and optional NMO mounts. Each antenna is 100% tested on a network analyzer.
Offering long lasting value for the most demanding mobile radio communications, both antennas are ideal for Project 25 initiative applications, allowing for communications with multiple government, public safety and commercial organizations.
