Three different cylinder sizes can produce up to 235,000 lbs of compressing force. Bale length can be adjusted to meet customer needs with bales weighing up to 3,000 lbs. Baler includes Pathfinder color touchscreen and 5-tie automatic wire tier. Slick material tension chamber self-adjusts to different materials for jam-free operation.

Versatile High-Volume Baler Meets Many Needs

(Bellevue, Ohio) - American Baler's 6042 wide-mouth baler is a versatile machine capable of keeping up with any high-volume operation. Designed to provide low operating costs and high productivity, the 6042 baler handles paper, miscellaneous fibers and light metals as well as HDPE and PET plastics. Standard features include a "Pathfinder" Color Touch Screen and a five-tie automatic wire tier. A slick material tension chamber self-adjusts to different materials for jam-free operation. A three-stage replaceable shear often eliminates the need for pre-shredding.

The 6042 baler features a 41" x 60" hopper and can bale up to 25,000 cubic feet per hour with cycle times as fast as 10.2 seconds. The machine is offered with a choice of three cylinder sizes capable of producing up to 235,000 pounds of compressing force. Bale length can be easily adjusted to meet customer needs with bales weighing up to 3,000 pounds. This baler is used successfully by distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, MRF operators, non-ferrous scrap processors, paper converters, paper stock dealers, printers, recycling centers, trash haulers and warehouses.
