June 14, 2005 - Offering 1.77 x 1.77 in. field of view, Model ONS-0395 features achromatic 1 in. dia lens, which is corrected for chromatic errors to provide clear and distortion-free image. Images are crisp and in-focus at both center and outer edges of lens. Variable focusing mechanism utilizes adjustable helicoid screw for smooth, precision focusing. Clear and opaque interchangeable bases enable magnifier to be used in ambient lighting conditions or on light table or light box.

Wide Field Magnifier - 4x
GEI International announces the availability of a Wide Field Magnifier, Model ONS-0395 with a magnification power of 4x.
This magnifier is of the highest quality featuring an achromatic one inch diameter lens which is corrected for chromatic errors to provide a bright, clear and distortion free image of a viewed object. The magnifier will provide an image which is crisp and in focus both at the center and outer edges of the lens.
A variable focusing mechanism utilizes a precision adjustable helicoid screw for smooth, precision focusing. This focusing mechanism is similar to that used on high quality photographic lenses.
Two interchangeable bases for the magnifier, clear and opaque are provided as standard to enable the magnifier to be used in ambient lighting conditions or on a light table or light box. The field of view of the magnifier is a full 1.77" x 1.77".
The magnifier is supplied complete with a detatchable neck strap and the two interchangeable clear and opaque bases.
