White LEDs Hard and Soft Light Options
A new line of cool- and warm white LEDs which provide designers with greater options for a wide range of lighting applications is being introduced by Gilway Technical Lamp of Woburn, Massachusetts.
Gilway White LEDs feature two new colors: cool blue and warm off-white to provide hard- and soft lighting options, or can be used together for a natural looking white. Suitable for decorative-, display-, signage-, task-, and outdoor-lighting applications, they come in various sizes and styles.
Featuring 5 mm, 3 mm and SMT sizes and narrow- and wide angles, Gilway White LEDs require only 3.5 vdc and provide 6,400 mcd @20 mA luminous intensity. They are an effective solid-state alternative to subminiature incandescent lamps in many applications.
