Designed to fold up and roll on 2 rear wheels, Alliance-Rice Lake Wheelchair Scale features 700 lb x 0.2 lb capacity, 29.5 x 32 in. platform with built-in ramp, and 1 in. LCD display. Scale lets users manually enter wheelchair's tare weight and includes BMI, reweigh, and hold functions. Powered by internal 9 Vdc rechargeable battery and ac adapter, scale has automatic power saving shut-off that is programmable up to 20 minutes. Results are provided in lb only, kg only, and lb/kg.

Portable Wheelchair Scale Weighs Wide Range of Patients
A new, fully portable wheelchair scale that can be easily transported by staff to an area close to patients, where they can be conveniently weighed, is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.
The Alliance-Rice Lake Wheelchair Scale features a 700 lb x 0.2 lb. capacity and has a large 29.5" x 32" platform with a built-in ramp, and a 1" LCD display for easy reading. Designed to fold up and roll on two rear wheels, this portable scale lets users manually enter the wheelchair's tare weight, and has a BMI (body mass index) function, reweigh- and hold functions.
Featuring an internal 9 VDC rechargeable battery and an AC adapter, the Alliance-Rice Lake Wheelchair Scale has an automatic power saving shut-off that is programmable up to 20 minutes. Results are provided in lb. only, kg only and lb/kg. An RS-232 port is standard and a USB-to-serial converter is optional. The scale is OIML, Class III (EU), and CE approved.
