OD, Terminator MILLHOG® Welding End Prep Tool can bevel, face, and bore simultaneously on all types of hard alloys, including SuperDuplex, and pulls thick chip without cutting fluids. Tool rigidly clamps to ID and has tracker to compensate for out of roundness. Offered with 5 hp pneumatic or hydraulic motor, product can produce symmetrical end preps of any angle and has 8 sets of clamps and 2 wedges for entire tool range.

Welding End Prep Tool Performs Complex Preps on Large Pipe
A new I.D. clamping welding end prep tool that compensates for out of round conditions and can perform complex end preps on highly alloyed pipe up to 36" O.D. is being introduced by ESCO Tool of Holliston, Massachusetts.
The Terminator MILLHOG® Welding End Prep Tool is designed for use on pipe from 8-5/8" I.D. to 36" O.D., rigidly clamps to the I.D., and has a tracker to compensate for out of roundness. Capable of producing symmetrical end preps of any angle, including "j" preps, this large pipe end prep tool can bevel, face, and bore simultaneously on all types of hard alloys including SuperDuplex and pulls a thick chip without cutting fluids.
Available with a 5 HP pneumatic or hydraulic motor, the Terminator MILLHOG® Welding End Prep Tool has only 8 sets of clamps and 2 wedges for the entire tool range, is quick to set-up, and requires no special operator training. Providing torque-free operation, it uses TiN coated formed cutter bits with chip breakers that direct heat away from the pipe surface.
