New BOAcd Series Bore Welder Helps Easily Repair Worn Bores
LANGDON, NH USA - Bore Repair Systems, Inc., a key provider of comprehensive, on-site bore repair solutions, introduces it's patented line of automated on-site bore welders designed to decrease weld time and improve productivity for machinists in shipbuilding, construction, mining, and service sectors. The product line includes the BOA-308i S1cd BOA-308iS2cd, BOA-308i S3cd, BOA-308i S4cd, BOA-308iS5cd and BOA-450HD. Each model enables a complete, uniform weld build-up for bore, flange and O.D. shafts, and valve repair work.
The system interfaces with not only it's own BORE REPAIR SYSTEMS, INC. brand of boring bars and bore sizers, but also B&D MFG AM1424, TM and EV series bars, Climax portable machine tools, including the BB3000, BB5000, BB4000, YORK series, DL RICCI, BOREMASTER and various others, allows one set-up for both welding, boring and bore finishing. Each of the six models in the line can be used for repairs on any equipment with a pivot point, including most construction equipment such as tractors and earthmovers, large steel fabrications, or shipbuilding and unlike any other brand of bore welder, features the unique and most user friendly pass-thru drive design with telescopic weld head system.

The BOA-450HD has a variable feed rate that enables precise control of weld placement throughout the application. It also features an auto-skip function, which allows users to designate "weld only" or "skip weld" areas. This feature is used for rapid completion of work on out-of-round bored or bores containing keyways.
