Latest release supports Microsoft Silverlight with cross-browser, cross-platform playback
MADISON, Wis., Jan. 29 -- Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOFO), a leader in automated rich media communications technology, today announced the company's collaboration with Microsoft Corp. to add support for Microsoft Silverlight to Mediasite 4.3. Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in that supports rich media experiences on the web. Its seamless and quick installation provides a consistent Mediasite experience for both Windows and Macintosh users on a variety of browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari.
