Hubbell Introduces Non-Metallic In-Use Weatherproof Covers
MILFORD, Conn., Sept. 14, 2006 - Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems has introduced newly redesigned and enhanced Non-Metallic In-Use Weatherproof Covers. These new covers are made from rugged polycarbonate material and have a modular design that accommodates multiple configurations. In addition, the covers are lock-out/tag-out compliant.
The redesign has been carried out to comply with the requirements of NEC Article 406.8 in all wet locations for 15 and 20 amp, 125 to 250 volt applications.
The current version of Hubbell's Non-Metallic In-Use Covers will no longer be available for sale after August 26, 2006. This redesign does not affect pricing.
